MISSION STATEMENT
FSB National Chairman John Wright joined hundreds of delegates and MPs including Shadow Business Secretary Mark Prisk and Tory MEP Philip Bushill-Matthews attended an FSB reception at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham this week. 
Secretary of State for Business John Hutton addressed an FSB reception attended by hundreds of delegates and MPs at the Labour Party conference this week while Northern Ireland Secretary Shaun Woodward was amongst guests at an FSB Northern Ireland gathering. 
Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has become the latest high profile politician to sign up to the FSB's Keep Trade Local campaign following a successful fringe event at the party's conference in Bournemouth this week. 
In a bid to save small businesses from being driven out of the UK's high streets, the FSB is urging the government to support its Keep Trade Local campaign.
