You may have missed this, unlikely - unless you’ve been in outer space for several months, but just in case! There are great things happening in Bognor Regis. The Regeneration Plans were recently on display in Bognor Regis giving everyone the chance to comment.
If you missed that, want to know what’s going on or simply keep up to date, go to www.arun.gov.uk/bognorregis where you’ll get the full picture.

Businesses in the Bognor Regis Town Centre area are invited to express an interest in having a metal sign on their premises. Unique signs have been installed on various buildings in Littlehampton and Bognor Regis reflecting the current or historical use or some of the history of the area. The creations are part of the Arts and Regeneration Project for both towns and have been created by Hampshire-based artist Richard Farrington. Funding for the project was successfully secured from the Arts Council England South East and other local partners.
A Bathing Machine was a characteristic of Bognor Regis in Victorian and Edwardian times and is still a treasured part of the town’s history and iconography. It is also part of the logo of the Historical Society and has been installed above Bognor Regis Museum at 69 High Street.
There is now an opportunity for one or two businesses in Bognor Regis to have a sign made for them to complete this part of the Arts & Regeneration project. Any local businesses based around the Town Centre and seafront area are invited to contact Sadie Tooley, Cultural Development Manager at Arun District Council on 01903 737874 to express an interest in having a sign designed and installed at no cost to them.
