The Young Apprenticeship Programme is a unique programme for hard-working and talented 14-16 year olds who show enthusiasm for their chosen vocation.

In West Sussex, it is currently available in:

• Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Aero)
• Motor Vehicle Service and Repair
• Construction
• Sports Management, Leadership and Coaching
• Business and Administration

Our Young Apprentices:

• spend one day a week at a local College following a City and Guilds qualification
• spend time over the 2 years with a local employer to gain invaluable work experience
• have impressed their employers no end - many of them have already been offered jobs at the end of their programme
• should be able to fast track their 16+ Apprenticeship, saving you both time and money.

One of our Young Apprentices works at the Sidlow Car Group in East Grinstead, and they have this to say:
"He's getting on great, it's nice to have someone young who is keen and interested to learn with the ability to mix in easily with the guys who are not only older but more qualified."

We are looking for companies willing to offer our Young Apprentices work placements - anything from a week to the full 50 days over two years in order to train them for a possible future Apprenticeship at 16+.
