Littlehampton's Blooming Great Sponsorship Opportunities
, Tuesday, 29 April 2008
Do you want to get your name right across Littlehampton in one of the most prestigious national competitions going? Then you need to sponsor Littlehampton's Britain in Bloom entry!
Britain in Bloom is one of the largest horticultural campaigns in Europe with the year round aim of creating a more beautiful Britain. It encourages communities to make positive and lasting improvements to their local areas for the benefit of residents, businesses and visitors.
This year in Littlehampton we are hoping to plant up as many hanging baskets and planters as possible to create a colourful, vibrant effect in and around the town. The long term aims of the campaign are that it will increase people’s feelings of pride in the town and thereby reduce antisocial behaviour, and that it will create a positive impact on tourists so that Littlehampton gets known for being a beautiful place to visit. The benefits of this to your business will be in a cleaner, brighter town that will generate more customers.
We would therefore like to ask for contributions towards hanging baskets and planters for display throughout the town. In return your company will get its name on all Littlehampton in Bloom publicity and press releases, and company name and information on the In Bloom section of Arun District Council’s website. These hanging baskets and planters will be in addition to those already provided by Arun District Council and will typically be displayed from the beginning of June until October, weather permitting.
If you wish to sponsor the scheme or require further information please contact Carrie Marples on 01903 737956 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
