University of Brighton Masters degree students recently visited one of the UK’s leading printed board circuit manufacturers, Artetch Circuits Ltd, based in Littlehampton, West Sussex as part of their continual professional development.

 The students spent 3 – 4 hours on site looking at the processes used in manufacture and carrying out an Environmental Audit, which forms a part of their Course Training.

The students are currently studying for an MSc in Environmental Management and Assessment and met with Artetch’s Technical Manager Alistair Murray. He commented “at Artetch we produce some of the most advanced circuit boards and technology in the UK and Europe and as a growing business we are aware of the need for good quality graduates to leave the University and join the team. Visits like the one from the University of Brighton allow useful real life scenarios to be experienced by the students and allow companies like Artetch to confirm that an exciting career in leading edge technology is possible in Sussex with companies such as Artetch”.

Artetch Circuits Ltd has been based in Littlehampton since 1969 and is one of the top 15 printed circuit board manufacturers in the UK employing 87 staff and generating a turnover in excess of £6 million per annum.
