Students visit one of the UK’s leading Printed Circuit Manufacturers

Year 10 students from the Dorothy Springer School in Brighton have recently visited one of the UK’s leading printed circuit board manufacturers, Artetch Circuits Ltd based in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
The students spent 2 hours at Artetch Circuits Ltd where they received a guided tour of the factory, where they were shown processes used in manufacturing. The students were also given a presentation on site.
The students are coming up to the age where they will be leaving school. The visit to Artetch allowed the students to see what a local company had to offer them.
The students met with Brian Ward, Key Account Manager and Matthew Beadel Product Development Manager. Brian commented “we were only too happy to show the students around the factory, it was a good day for all involved. As an industry we need to interest the next generation of employees and we were able to after a useful insight into our exciting business here in Littlehampton”.
Artetch Circuits Ltd has been based in Littlehampton since 1969 and over the years has grown to be one of the top 15 printed circuit board manufacturers in the UK. With them now employing 87 staff and generating a turnover in excess of £6 million per annum.
