Our ever popular Getting To Know You event was held on 9th July at Fontwell Park Racecourse. The weather was appalling and full credit must go to all those hardy souls who turned out and braved the elements. Unloading your car full of products and brochures in torrential rain is no fun – believe me! But it seems that it was worth it with many businesses saying it was the best one yet!

For the first time this year we had a booking system with a £50 deposit that was returned on the day. This has proved very popular as it seemed to give that extra bit of encouragement for businesses to take up the space they had booked. In fact it was so busy that some latecomers were disappointed as the 4 spare tables that we had were allocated at 1.45 ready for a 2.00 p.m. start.

Some 60 businesses came along to display their wares and I’m told that there are some very promising contracts being negotiated as I write this. Among the attendees were:
