RS Couriers Turns Into A Diamond Business

Bognor-based RS Couriers has been acquired by Diamond Logistics of Guildford, Surrey. In addition to offering the same services with the same staff and drivers, the new company - which will retain the RS Couriers name - will offer clients a host of new services.
According to Kate Lester, managing director of both RS Couriers and Diamond Logistics, “RS Couriers has built an excellent reputation amongst the Sussex business community over the last 19 years. The combined strength of RS Couriers and Diamond Logistics will provide economies of scale and a wealth of diverse despatch knowledge, which our clients will benefit from.”
Both companies are set to gain from the acquisition. RS Couriers will benefit from Diamond Logistics’ skill base in valuable and very urgent consignments a well as its specialised passport, legislation and notary services. Through RS Couriers, Diamond Logistics will be able to extend its same day European work, providing an enhanced service to its clients.
Russell Skinner, former owner of RS Couriers and now general manager, commented, ‘I have known Kate Lester for years and have seen many examples of her business acumen in practice. With her influence and our experience I am looking forward to an exciting future at RS Couriers.”
Diamond Logistics was founded in 1992. It has an impressive list of over 1,000 Surrey-based clients, including the top five legal firms in Guildford.
